Morpheus8 is a non-surgical skin treatment that combines radiofrequency (RF) and microneedling technologies to improve the appearance of the skin. The treatment can be used on the face, neck, and body to treat a variety of skin concerns, including: Morpheus8 can address issues such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and uneven skin tone and texture. The RF energy and microneedling work together to stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. Additionally, Morpheus8 can be used in conjunction with other skin treatments, such as microblading, to enhance overall results and achieve the desired aesthetic outcome.

Who can receive Morpheus8 at The Fix Clinic?

Morpheus8 is beneficial to adults with mild to moderate signs of aging. Surgery may be a better option for those who have significant loose skin and very deep wrinkles. Additionally, those with recently placed threads, tattoo or /metal implants in the area of treatment, or a pacemaker are not able to receive Morpheus8.

At The Fix Clinic, guests are assessed and cleared for Morpheus8 treatment by one of our Nurse Practitioners. Our Morpheus8 providers are extensively trained in advanced techniques using the device and the treatment is only performed by our highly skilled Board Certified Nurse Practitioners.

Prior to treatment, a topical lidocaine gel is applied to the skin. Once the area is adequately numbed, it is thoroughly cleansed and the treatment is performed quickly and effectively. Morpheus8 microneedles can cause discomfort for some people. A pricking or poking sensation, as well as stinging, pinching, and heat, can be common during treatment. Some also describe aching, throbbing, or soreness after the treatment. The level of discomfort can range from mild to more significant, especially over thinner or more sensitive areas, such as the forehead.

It is normal to have some mild redness, swelling and small areas of bruising with Morpehus8. Downtime after Morpheus8 treatment can vary from one day to two weeks, depending on the treatment area and intensity. Most patients can return to their normal activities within one to two days, but full recovery can take up to five days.

The frequency of re-treating with Morpheus8 is different for everyone. In general, the treatment is best performed with the first 3 sessions approximately 4 to 6 weeks apart, and then a maintenance session once a year to address the aging that has occurred since the last treatment..
