Good candidates for these treatments are generally people who are in good health and have realistic expectations about the results. Severe signs of aging are generally better addressed with surgery. People with bleeding disorders or who take blood thinners should not receive these injections. PRF injections should also be avoided by people with blood clotting diseases, collagen vascular disease, active infections, or immunosuppression disorders.

PRP, PRF, and EZ Gel is generally a very comfortable treatment. Your blood will be drawn in the office to fill several small test tubes from which the PRP, PRF, or EZ Gel will be made. The treatment is generally less than 15 to 30 minutes once the PRP or PRF is created.
It is normal to have some swelling or bruising with PRP, PRF, or PRF EZ Gel. In general, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), and EZ gel procedures have little to no downtime, and you can return to your normal activities immediately after your treatment.
Any of these treatments is best performed in a series of 3, each session spread 4 to 6 weeks apart. After completion of that series, a maintenance session is recommended in 6 to 12 months, depending on desired results. It is important to understand that these treatments are regenerative. Results will be subtle and continue to improve over time. They are designed to improve aging over months and years to come.
